"The Path of Governance": Youth Training Program

In order to encourage Hong Kong youth to have a better understanding of the historical development of the national government structure and how Hong Kong people can enter the mainland government structure and actively participate in national development, as well as to consider how Hong Kong's advantages can contribute to national development and provide suggestions in this regard, Mytheast Youth Club is organizing "The Path of Governance": Youth Training Program. This program is sponsored by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education.
This program includes the following five activities:

National Historical Achievements and Contemporary Government Structure Experiential Learning Day (November 15, 2025)

Sharing Session with Hong Kong National People's Congress Representatives and Political Consultative Conference Members (November 29, 2025)
-
Policy Research Workshop (December 7, 2025)

National Policy Proposal Competition
-
Policy Proposal Presentation Day and Closing Ceremony for the Program (February 14, 2026)
Details of the National Policy Competition:
-
The topic of the competition is "How to utilize Hong Kong's advantages to contribute to national development in the areas of technology, economy, culture, or environmental protection."

Each team is required to submit a group proposal of 1000-1500 words.

Students need to submit their proposals by February 4, 2026, or earlier.
Registration Information:

Coordinated by a school teacher

Eligible participants are students in Form 3 to Form 5
-
Each school can send a team of 4-6 students to participate
-
The registration deadline is November 07, 2025
Recognition:
-
Each participant will receive an individual certificate for the entire training program
-
Outstanding teams will receive certificates of merit and book vouchers

For the previous year, the closing ceremony of the program for 2024-2025 was successfully held on February 15, 2025, at HKPC Building. We were honored to have many important guests in attendance that day, and it received extensive coverage from the media.
