In active response to the development plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and to deepen educational and professional exchanges and cooperation between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, a delegation from the Mytheast Youth Club made a special visit to Guangzhou Maritime University on June 26, 2026. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including bilateral student exchanges between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, and the cultivation of modern logistics talent.

On the morning of the same day, the delegation from the Mytheast Youth Club was warmly received by Director Li Hong of the International Exchange College at Guangzhou Maritime University, along with other representatives.

During the exchange session, Director Li Hong, on behalf of the university, extended a sincere welcome to the visiting delegation and provided a detailed introduction to the university's educational achievements. Mr. Ho Chi Wa, President of the Mytheast Youth Club, expressed his gratitude to the university for its warm hospitality.

This visit and exchange not only enhanced mutual understanding between the Hong Kong industry sector and Guangzhou Maritime University, but also laid a solid foundation for future bilateral exchanges among young students from the two cities and the sharing of industrial resources. Both sides agreed that they should seize the development opportunities presented by the Greater Bay Area, promptly promote the implementation of specific cooperation projects, and jointly contribute to the development of the national shipping industry and regional economic growth.
